Join Barbara Eichorst and Nicole Johnson from the American Diabetes Association® for the inaugural episode of Spotlight on Diabetes Education. This new series is designed to bring together people with diabetes and their health care providers, focusing on crucial topics that support thriving with the condition. Tune in for this episode where we delve into the connection between
sleep and diabetes. Discover the importance of sleep, strategies to enhance sleep quality, and more.

Barbara Eichorst is a certified diabetes care and education specialist, with a focus on the individualized needs of people with diabetes. The goal is to activate and empower a heathy life with diabetes, community, support, and daily joy. The approach is to create simple solutions for complex challenges and situational problem solving.

Nicole Johnson has a doctoral degree in public health and has been living with type 1 diabetes for over 30 years. She advocates for empowered diabetes care and always including the perspective of the person with diabetes in therapeutic decisions. Her aim is to make living with diabetes simpler for all people.

Nutrition can be a challenging topic and there is a lot of conflicting information available.
