Menin Inhibition with Icovamenib: Restoring Beta Cell Function and Personalizing the Management of Type 2 Diabetes
Supported by an educational grant from Biomea Fusion
(5:45 a.m.–6:15 a.m.—Breakfast/6:15 a.m.–7:45 a.m.—Program)
The symposium will explore menin inhibition for the treatment of T2D by addressing an unmet yet root cause of diabetes, beta cell dysfunction. Discussions will include 26-week data from a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, COVALENT-111, and describe how clinical parameters can cluster patients into T2D-subtypes to better identify treatment efficacy.

Implementing the MASH Care Pathway—An Interactive Case Challenge
Sponsored by Medscape
Supported by an educational grant from Madrigal Pharmaceuticals
(5:30 a.m.–6:00 a.m.—Breakfast/6:00 a.m.–7:30 a.m.—Program)
The incidence of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) is growing rapidly. Patients with or at risk for MASH are underdiagnosed, and thus they may not be benefiting from newly approved liver-directed therapies that can alter the disease course. In this “Test and Teach” style symposium, attendees will be challenged to answer clinical questions about realistic patient cases presented by expert faculty. Faculty will provide real-time feedback on clinical decision-making and “teach” on important topics, including the interconnections between MASH and other chronic metabolic diseases, noninvasive testing strategies, risk stratification, and the latest clinical data on newly approved and emerging treatments for MASH. Join us for this fun and informative case challenge!

Six to Sixty–Scaling Innovation in Obesity
Sponsored by Metsera
(6:15 p.m.-6:45 p.m.—Dinner/6:45 p.m.-8:00 p.m.—Program)
Nutrient-Stimulated Hormone (NuSH) analogs have the potential to improve physical, mental, and social well-being on a population level. But NuSH analog availability, access, and persistence are limiting factors. Moving from current utilization rates of ~6% to 60% will require systematic scaling. But how? This symposium will examine solutions – new approaches to peptide engineering, scaled manufacturing, reduced disutility, and non-traditional care delivery models.

This activity is supported by an educational grant from Sanofi US
(6:15 p.m.–6:30 p.m.—Registration & Dinner/6:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m.—CME Program)
This program will provide an expert overview of the importance of screening and detection of early-stage type 1 diabetes (T1D), as well as monitoring post-screening as a crucial step to identifying individuals who can benefit from treatment with disease-modifying therapies (DMTs). In addition, the program will overview the evidence with DMTs in early stage T1D, as well as patient selection and practical considerations for their application to patient care. The program will be highly interactive, including case-based discussions and engaging animations, which will help reinforce key concepts in early stage T1D.
