Jessica Pierce, PhD, is a Research Scientist in the Nemours Center for Healthcare Delivery Science, a pediatric psychologist in the Division of Behavioral Health at Nemours Children’s Hospital-Florida, and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. Her research focuses on the promotion of health and well-being in understudied patient populations in pediatric type 1 diabetes, young adults, and very young children. Dr. Pierce serves on the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Behavioral Medicine & Psychology Interest Group Leadership Board and the ADA Mental Health Advisory Committee.
