Why Vaccination Matters in Diabetes Education
People living with diabetes face a higher risk of complications from vaccine-preventable diseases. Timely immunization is a vital part of diabetes self-management and community health. However, vaccination rates remain suboptimal due to persistent myths, doubts, and lack of awareness. The ADA Vaccination Toolkit was created to address these challenges and support educators in guiding meaningful conversations about immunization.
