Making Diabetes Technology Work

The American Diabetes Association’s® Making Diabetes Technology Work CE program is FREE and on-demand. This program is designed to help the diabetes care team on the front lines of primary care master the latest evidence-based recommendations for the implementation and management of cutting-edge diabetes technology.

Course Description

With over 37 million people living with diabetes, the ADA's Making Diabetes Technology Work (MDTW) Continuing Education program will help the diabetes care team (MD, DO, NP, PA, PharmD, RN, ARNP, RD, CDCES) responsible for the medical management of people living with diabetes master the latest cutting-edge diabetes technology. Based on the ADA's Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes (SOC), the gold standard in diabetes treatment, and other publications, this program ensures that patients receive up-to-date, evidence-based care. 

Using a case-based approach the program features modules that focus on implementing technology and utilizing data for shared decision making and addresses barriers and health equity issues related to diabetes technology. The program features opportunities for networking and best-practice sharing through online discussions and highlights clinics and health systems that are successfully achieving good health outcomes with their patients using diabetes technology.
