Dr. Müller is the director of the Institute for Diabetes and Obesity at Helmholtz Munich, Germany, and full professor for glucose and energy metabolism at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. His research is focused on the development of novel unimolecular polypharmacotherapies for the treatment of obesity and diabetes, with a particular focus on the incretins. Dr. Müller also identified key neural and molecular pathways controlling body weight, food intake, and glucose metabolism, advancing next-generation treatments for metabolic disease.
