Diabetes Placemats

  • The ADA’s Diabetes Placemats provide a simple guide to planning meals and managing portions. The sample pack of seven culturally tailored diabetes placemats include: Classic, Southern, Hispanic, Vegetarian, Asian, Indian, and Pacific Islander. 

Ask the Experts 

  • Our Ask the Experts series is designed to help people with diabetes tackle commonly faced issues by providing a community where individuals can ask questions of our experts and hear from others who might share similar experiences.

Center for Information

  • Representatives at the American Diabetes Association's Center for Information are available to guide you and your patients/clients to diabetes information and resources, as well as local programs and events. To reach these representatives, call 1-800-DIABETES (800-342-2383) or email askada@diabetes.org / preguntas@diabetes.org. Translation services are available for individuals calling via phone.

Diabetes Food Hub 

  • The ADA's Diabetes Food Hub is a cooking and recipe destination made for people living with diabetes and their families. The Food Hub includes an interactive Meal Planner, editable Grocery List tool and Healthy Tips from ADA food and nutrition experts.

Local Diabetes Education Programs 

  • These ADA-recognized programs provide high-quality diabetes education and empower patients with the knowledge and skills to manage the disease.

Diabetes Prevention Program

  • Prediabetes affects 1 out of 3 American adults and means a person is at high risk for developing type 2 diabetes. The Diabetes Prevention Program is a CDC-recognized lifestyle change program for people with prediabetes that is proven to prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes. Find a program in your local community that can help the patients/clients you serve.

Type 2 Diabetes Risk Test 

  • 9 out of 10 Americans most at risk for type 2 diabetes don’t know it. Encourage your patients/clients to take 60 seconds to find out if they’re one of them. The Risk Test is available in English and Spanish.
