Low testosterone and diabetes

Men can experience reduced testosterone levels as they age (ie, late-onset hypogonadism). Men with chronic diseases (eg, diabetes) can also have reduced testosterone levels. About 33% of men with type 2 diabetes have low testosterone levels.

Free testosterone is a better measure than total testosterone.
