Interested in ADA Recognition? - First Steps


To promote quality education for people with diabetes, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) endorses the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support.  If you are seeking reimbursement for diabetes education, it is appropriate to apply for ADA Recognition of your diabetes education program or service.  The fee for an original application is $1100 for a 4 year Recognition cycle. 


Programs seeking Recognition
for the first time 
must contact ERP at 888-232-0822 and choose option 5 or email ERP@diabetes.org in order to be entered into the system and be provided access to submit the application.  You may also submit an Interest form and an ERP staff member will contact you.
