Research Awards

Research Awards are designed to provide support to both new and established investigators. Basic Science Awards support basic science research in any area relevant to the etiology or pathophysiology of diabetes and diabetes-related complication. Clinical Science and Epidemiology Awards are designed to support patient-oriented clinical research and epidemiology research in diabetes. Translational Science Awards support for research that accelerates the transition of scientific discoveries into clinical applications. Innovation Awards provide support for creative proposals that may lack preliminary data but hold significant promise for advancements in the prevention, cure or treatment of diabetes.
