STATUS: July 2014 application deadline delayed to October 2014
Next Call for Applications Opens August 2014
The American Diabetes Association is currently undertaking a comprehensive review of its grant funding programs to ensure that we continue to provide strategic, critical support for diabetes research over the long term. To allow sufficient time for this review and the implementation of recommended changes, the upcoming call for applications for the Core Programs (July 2014 deadline) has been delayed until October 2014. Updated grant mechanisms and application materials for Core research, development, and training awards will be available online August 2014.
Application deadlines for Targeted RFAs and Pathway to Stop Diabetes have not been adjusted and will remain as scheduled.
Grant Mechanism Refresh
Grant mechanisms/eligibility criteria are currently undergoing a strategic review and are subject to change for the next cycle. However, our program will continue to support innovative basic, clinical and translational research across a broad spectrum of topics relevant to diabetes and its complications, with grant mechanisms for investigators at various stages of their careers.
